2. Data processed

• identity and contact data: name, first name, address, email and telephone number depending on the channel used;
• stay data: villa or gite, dates, number of guests, requests and exchanges;
• contractual and financial data: prices, invoices, payment status and transaction references;
• technical data necessary for operation and security: IP address, technical logs, browser and connection information.

Payment card details are not stored by this site. They are processed directly by the payment provider concerned.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• respond to requests and prepare a reservation: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in responding to visitors;
• manage the reservation, stay, payments, deposit and exchanges: execution of the contract;
• prepare invoices, manage tourist tax and comply with accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation;
• secure the site, prevent abuse and preserve useful evidence: legitimate interest and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Recipients and service providers

The data is accessible only to people and service providers who need it to provide the service:

• Villa Ardèche for managing requests and stays;
• STRATO GmbH for hosting the site and emails;
• Bookingmood for the calendar, reservation requests and stay management;
• Stancer for creating and tracking online payments;
• competent authorities when required by law.

Some service providers may use subcontractors located outside the European Economic Area. In this case, they must frame these transfers with the guarantees provided for by the GDPR.

5. Retention periods

• requests without reservation: up to 3 years after the last contact;
• contracts and evidence: up to 5 years after the end of the contractual relationship;
• invoices and accounting documents: 10 years;
• technical logs: for the duration strictly necessary for safety and diagnosis.

A longer period may apply when it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal right.

6. Cookies and Bookingmood module

The site does not configure advertising cookies or advertising audience measurement. On the availability page, external Bookingmood content is not loaded before you have expressed your choice.

If you accept, the Bookingmood calendar and its adaptation script are loaded in order to display availability and process your request. Bookingmood indicates that it uses first-party analytics and may use cookies or functional and statistical technologies. If you refuse, no connection to the Bookingmood module is made from this page and you can continue browsing or contact us directly.

Your choice is kept for six months in the local storage of your browser so that you are not asked again each time you visit. You can withdraw your consent using the control displayed below the calendar; the module is then unloaded and will no longer be activated during your next visits.

7. Security

The site uses an HTTPS connection and technical and organizational measures intended to limit unauthorized access, loss or alteration of data. However, no system offers absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under the conditions provided for by the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, limitation or portability of your data, oppose certain processing and withdraw consent when processing is based on it.

To exercise your rights, write to info@location-villa-ardeche.fr specifying your request. Proof of identity may only be requested if there is reasonable doubt as to your identity.
